Introduction to TrueConf Room
This section gives only a general description.
Check this section to learn how TrueConf Room can be connected to a video conferencing server.
To hold video conferences, connect TrueConf Room to TrueConf Server (a video conferencing server) and sign in using your account information. TrueConf Server can operate in a local network or over the Internet.
As a product, TrueConf Room does not come with video conferencing peripherals. A microphone and a camera have to be connected to the computer running TrueConf Room.
During a video conference participants' videos are displayed on a screen connected to the computer where TrueConf Room was installed.
When there are no ongoing conferences, the following elements are displayed on the main screen:
A video from the camera connected to TrueConf Room
A QR code with a link to the control panel
Information about the current user
In this case, TrueConf Room general screen view is called the main screen. Check this section to see how main screen settings can be changed.
TrueConf Room is implemented through a web interface accessible from any device that has a web browser. The web interface is powered by a local web server launched by TrueConf Room and requires no Internet connection. This part of TrueConf Room is called the control panel.
